Pimples are a common problem in adolescents, but they also affects people in their adulthood and tend to develop everywhere on the body. It results from the blockage of hair follicles by oil and dead skin cells. The main factors that cause pimples infection are accumulation of bacteria on the skin; sebum overproduction and dead skin cell build up. Without proper treatment it causes permanent body scarring and can leave an individual feeling very self-conscious. Applying Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil has both antiseptic and antifungal qualities ad will go a long way in reducing the severity and frequency of pimples outbreaks. Using a cotton wool swab, apply the tea oil directly to the affected areas. It is advisable to use diluted tea tree oil as undiluted tea may worsen the inflammation.


Rubbing Crushed Peppermint on the Affected Areas

Since peppermint is a naturally proven antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent, it can be applied to the acne-affected areas. Peppermint leaves are always available in most local grocery and health stores and its preparation involves use of a mortar and pestle to crush about five of these leaves to form a paste that can then be rubbed directly on the pimples-prone areas.

Applying a Paste of Oatmeal and Honey Regularly

Oatmeal absorbs excess oil and fats from the skin while honey has good toning and antiseptic properties. To reduce the frequency of new acne outbreaks and skin oiliness, one should always apply a paste of oatmeal and honey to his skin, possibly two times in a week.


Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar helps fight pimples by cleaning away excess oil, normalizing the natural pH of the skin and acting as an anti-bacterial guard on the skin. With the aid of a cotton ball, apple cider vinegar is directly applied to the acne-prone areas.
Generally, a good remedy for pimples should be a multi-faceted approach involving other practices such as: a healthy diet, reducing stress, changing your pillow case regularly and drinking plenty of water.
